Welcome to my About page. My name is Chuck Musselwhite, and I have been a full-time pastor since 1994. I started in youth ministry and then had a brief stint as an administrative pastor before I planted the Village Chapel in Lompoc, California, in 2007. In 2023, we moved from the Vandenberg Village neighborhood to the Mission Hills neighborhood, changing the name to Hope Chapel.

Over the years, I have written several devotionals, been involved in church planting and revitalization, and served on the board of Enduring Word Ministries.

I graduated with an English degree from Vanguard University in 1994 and soon after met my wife, Jennifer. We married in 1997 and have four children. Outside of ministry, my greatest joys are being with my family, BBQing, and the occasional mountain bike ride right off of the church property.
