It is time to give an update on the kiddos.
Caleb: Turned 6 in August and is getting to be a big boy. He is already over 4ft tall and I don’t think I hit that mark until at least 3rd or 4th grade. We signed him up for basketball and not to be a bragging parent but the boy is good. For example he played a game last night and at halftime it was 4 for the opposing team and 10 for Caleb. The game ended up being 14-12 with Caleb pouring in 12 of those points. Now if he would just play some defense!
Allie: Turned 5 in December and is all princess. She lives for her ballet class and her teachers says she works really hard. On top of that it is all about her art and her Bicycle. She loves doing both of those as much as she can
Toby: He will turn 3 at the end of February but as with most third children he wants to be much older. He wishes he can play basketball with his brother and can already dribble better than him. While Caleb and Allie are in school he spends most of his time with his matchbox cars and entertaining his little sister.
Madelyn: She is 8 months and already wants nothing to do with baby stuff. She won’t drink out of a bottle and can’t stand baby food. Already crawling she can often be found in her happy place; the bathroom. She is a major mama’s girl and tends to let everyone know when she is not happy by all of her grunting. On the flip side she is by far the most playful of all our kids at this age, which is saying something if you knew Caleb
That is about it. Caleb and Allie started going to a charter school at the start of the year. It is a really cool thing where they only go on Tuesdays and Fridays. I crack up at who my daughters new BFF is but that just shows God’s sense of humor. Jen does a great job of teaching the kids and I am amazed at how quickly they learn.
