Book Review: Leading on Empty

This book was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. To tell you the truth I couldn’t put it down. At this point in my life it struck a cord and the book gives some great insight on what you are going through and how to deal with it.

What I liked best about the book is the questions it asks. I came away with some good litmus tests on my personal life and ministry. After teaching 27 out the last 29 Sundays I can feel the weight of having to come up with a message each week and the need for a rest. I recommend this to any pastor who has been at it for at least 7 years.
